About The Truce
The Truce is based upon Italian writer Primo Levi’s The Reawakening, an autobiographical account of his liberation from Auschwitz and his nine-month journey home to Turin. Directed by award-winning film veteran Francesco Rosi, The Truce stars John Turturro as Levi in a moving portrait of a man’s reawkening to love and humanity.
