About Us

We started CineGoGo because we love movies. Unfortunately, there are more great movies out there than there are venues that screen them. It seems that all the megaplexes do nowadays is show one major Hollywood blockbuster film on half the screens they have. As much as we love our plasma screen TVs, high-definition DVD players and the rest of our home theater toys, watching movies at home just isn't the same. Enter CineGoGo. Using the latest in social networking and Web 2.0 technologies, as well as some digital distribution techniques, we're planning to bring together some very talented, under-discovered filmmakers and an enthusiastic film audience hungry for something other than the offerings of the megaplexes. CineGoGo was founded by people that share that passion and have the skills and background that can bring the CineGoGo vision to life. The team includes veterans from several Silicon Valley startups as well as a few filmmakers and producers. We even have a Sundance-nominated filmmaker in the mix.
